Mobile R-134a A/C Recharge in Miami

Professional mobile R-134a recovery, evacuation, leak inspection and manufacturer-specified recharge performed at your home, workplace or authorized private parking location.

We confirm that the vehicle uses R-134a, recover the existing refrigerant and recharge the system by exact factory-specified weight—not by pressure or feel.

$220 + applicable tax

Standard price for an eligible R-134a vehicle and system. Repairs, contaminated refrigerant and nonstandard conditions are quoted separately before additional work begins.

What Does the Standard $220 R-134a Service Include?

Refrigerant type confirmed before service

Existing refrigerant recovered with professional equipment

System evacuated before recharging

R-134a installed by manufacturer-specified weight

Pressures and vent temperature verified

Initial refrigerant-leak inspection included

No repair beyond the standard service is performed without explaining the findings, presenting the additional price and receiving your approval.

Transparent R-134a Service Pricing

$120 Mobile labor

Includes up to one hour of professional mobile service and evaluation of the A/C system during the recharge procedure.

$100 R-134a service procedure

Includes standard refrigerant recovery, evacuation, initial leak inspection, factory-specified R-134a recharge and post-service performance checks.

Total standard eligible service: $220 plus applicable tax.

The price applies only when the vehicle and system meet the eligibility requirements below. Additional refrigerant for unusually large-capacity systems, repairs, extended diagnosis and contaminated refrigerant are not included.

When the Standard R-134a Service Applies

Included eligibility Quoted separately
The vehicle is factory-specified for R-134a. R-1234yf or other refrigerant systems.
The refrigerant can be recovered safely with standard R-134a equipment. Mixed, contaminated or unidentified refrigerant.
No component repair is required before completing the service. Compressor, condenser, evaporator, hose or line repairs.
The standard service can be completed within the included labor period. Electrical, control-system or extended diagnostic testing.
The system has a standard passenger-vehicle R-134a capacity. Unusually large, dual-evaporator or heavy-duty capacities.
The vehicle is at an eligible and safe service location. Locations outside the service area or without authorized parking.

If the system cannot be serviced safely under the standard procedure, we explain the condition and provide the next recommended step before proceeding.

Warm Air Does Not Automatically Mean the Vehicle Needs Refrigerant

Low refrigerant is one possible cause of poor cooling, but several other problems can produce similar symptoms:

  • Compressor underperformance or control-valve problems
  • Electrical or control-system faults
  • Weak condenser-fan operation
  • Restricted condenser airflow
  • Blend-door or HVAC-box problems
  • Expansion-valve or refrigerant-flow restrictions
  • Evaporator freezing or restricted airflow
  • Incorrect or contaminated refrigerant

Adding refrigerant without determining the existing charge can overcharge the system. If another condition prevents the standard recharge from being completed safely, we stop and explain the findings.

We never guess—we test and confirm.

Our Mobile R-134a Service Process

Confirm the refrigerant

We verify that the vehicle is designed for R-134a using its label and applicable service information.

Inspect system operation

We review relevant temperatures, pressures, condenser airflow and visible evidence of leakage or malfunction.

Recover the refrigerant

Existing refrigerant is recovered before the system is evacuated or opened.

Evacuate the system

Air and moisture are removed. Vacuum stability is evaluated as one part of the service process.

Recharge by exact weight

R-134a is installed according to the manufacturer-specified capacity using a calibrated refrigerant scale.

Verify performance

System pressures, vent temperature and general A/C performance are checked after charging.

Vacuum stability alone does not prove that a system has no refrigerant leak. Additional leak-detection procedures may be recommended based on the condition and service history.

Why R-134a Must Be Charged by Exact Weight

Gauge pressures change with ambient temperature, airflow, engine speed, humidity and system load. They are useful diagnostic measurements, but they do not show exactly how much refrigerant is inside the system.

The correct procedure is to recover the existing refrigerant, evacuate the system and install the factory-specified refrigerant mass using a calibrated scale. Pressures and temperatures are then evaluated to verify performance.

  • No pressure-only charging
  • No guessing based on vent temperature
  • No small-can topping off
  • No customer-supplied refrigerant
  • No mixing R-134a with R-1234yf or unknown refrigerants

Mixed or Contaminated Refrigerant Requires a Different Procedure

Standard R-134a service assumes that the system contains recoverable R-134a without incompatible refrigerants, stop-leak products or other contaminants.

If the refrigerant identifier detects contamination—or if the service history suggests that R-1234yf, hydrocarbon refrigerant, stop leak or an unknown product may have been introduced—the standard $220 service may not apply.

Contaminated refrigerant may require controlled recovery, additional equipment, system flushing, oil-balance correction or component inspection. The required work is explained and quoted after evaluation.

Mobile R-134a Service in Eligible Miami-Dade Areas

Common covered areas include Miami, Hialeah, Doral, Miami Lakes, Medley, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, North Miami, Westchester, Sweetwater and eligible areas of Kendall.

Required service location

The vehicle must be accessible at one of the following:

  • A safe private driveway
  • A private parking space where automotive service is permitted
  • An authorized workplace parking area

Mobile R-134a Recharge Frequently Asked Questions

How much does mobile R-134a A/C service cost?

The standard service is $220 plus applicable tax for an eligible R-134a vehicle and system. The price includes $120 for up to one hour of mobile labor and $100 for the standard R-134a service procedure.

Is the R-134a refrigerant included?

The standard manufacturer-specified R-134a charge is included for an eligible passenger-vehicle system. Unusually large capacities, contaminated refrigerant or other nonstandard conditions require a separate quote.

Can you just add refrigerant without recovering the system?

We do not guess how much refrigerant remains or top off the system from small cans. The existing refrigerant is recovered so the system can be evacuated and recharged by exact manufacturer-specified weight.

Can you recharge an A/C system that has a leak?

The service includes an initial leak inspection, but leak repair is not included. If a leak or another condition must be corrected before service can be completed safely, we explain the findings and quote the repair separately.

Do gauge pressures show how much refrigerant is in the system?

No. Pressures vary with temperature, airflow and system load. The correct refrigerant quantity is established by recovering the existing charge and installing the factory-specified weight using a calibrated scale.

What if my vehicle uses R-1234yf?

The $220 R-134a offer does not apply to an R-1234yf system. R-1234yf uses different refrigerant and service requirements and must be quoted separately.

What if the refrigerant is mixed or contaminated?

Contaminated refrigerant cannot be processed as a normal R-134a charge. It may require identification, controlled recovery and additional corrective procedures quoted after evaluation.

Does the $220 price include A/C component repairs?

No. Compressor, condenser, evaporator, hose, refrigerant-line, electrical and control-system repairs are not included. No additional repair is performed without customer approval.

Is same-day service guaranteed?

No. Appointment availability, vehicle condition, location, parts and the required procedure determine scheduling. We confirm availability after receiving the vehicle and service-location information.
